UFC Fighter Having Trouble With 1-3 Amateur? Man... How does that happen?!

"Top 20 UFC fighter having trouble with 1-3 amateur?! Why?!" ⬆️ wait for the video to load ⬆️

A top ranked UFC fighter should not be having trouble against a 1-3 amateur fighter... HOW does that happen?

Malcolm Gordon is a top 20 fighter in the UFC, but here in this video, he's getting scored on by Ali Mehdinia, an amateur fighter with a 25% win rate.

Before you get judgemental, get curious.

Ali is a grappling ace, a true phenom who took the national grappling tournaments by storm with an approximate 250-10 record.

By the time he was purple belt, after submitting many black belts of all weight classes as a flyweight, he decided to pursue MMA.

While his teammates went on to become top 10 in the world, he started to self train in striking.

To say he built up bad habits is an understatement. His habits are some of the worst I've ever seen given his talent level.

Despite being a freak athlete, disciplined, coachable, and dedicated, he just cannot strike with good technique.

Everything Ali does is a huge mess:

  • Punches and kicks don't involve his hips (arm punches and flicky kicks).
  • Doesn't retract his punches or kicks (makes him get hit and panic)
  • Throws up-kicks and doesn't turn them in (minus 70% power)
  • Gets scared after being attacked once (because he's never in position to absorb strikes and hit back with authority)
  • Every strike is thrown in isolation with weird technique and timing (no one is going to respect hits without technique and logic)
  • Constantly off balances himself during strikes (looks terrible for judges scoring)

These are in fact what commonly plagues most strikers and why 99% of people never get good in striking.

Even world class coaches don't have the tools to make near-instant adjustments to these bad habits once they have been formed for years.

By now, Ali's been going to world class striking coaches (the very best fighters in Muay Thai and Kickboxing) for years...

And his training partners include the best MMA fighters like Malcolm.

While all of this is important to take him to a world class level later... there's an important question to answer and a big problem to solve.

Why the hell is he not improving?

Surely he should have the fundamentals after years of training by now right?... or so he thought as well.

The truth? Nope. Not at all.

And despite all of this, Ali STILL gives top ranked UFC fighters trouble in training.

Not only can he submit UFC blackbelts, he can give them pressure in striking and land hits despite his terrible technique and tactical choices.

This is all without any fundamentals...

Now imagine what Ali could do if he had great fundamentals.

Who would he become?

In two sessions, I was able to give him what he's been missing for years, and he saw freak improvements.

Compared to the world class coaches he's worked with recently, he said that no one has helped him improve so fast in such a short amount of time.

Don't hear it from me, hear it from Ali himself.

You see, Ali should be smoking everyone he fought in the amateurs.

He narrowly lost every one of those fights, and due to his inability to attack and defend well in striking, he was unable to use his grappling as well.

This is tragic, because with proper coaching, I truly believe Ali would be one of the best in the world.

... and I think he still can be despite having so much lost timeI'll do my part to help take him there.

Right now, we are building up Ali and documenting the entire process, and he's seeing FREAK RESULTS.

After optimizing his techniques, he is literally producing 2-3x more power in a single session, and able to do it in live sparring.

Witnessing that and even thinking about it now gives me goosebumps.

Truly, I love working with hidden gems and helping others realize their potential, and I'd do it even if I wasn't building content from it.

But documenting it also serves as evidence.

This evidence proves how effective "Legendary Fundamentals" is, and it also allows the system to help as many people as possible... even through online platforms.

With Ali, the progression he's making is so freakishly clear that it's shocking despite the fact I've worked with high level athletes through the LK-Yessis system already.

Ali is by far the best raw material I've encountered. He literally doesn't get tired from training at a high intensity for 3-6 hours a day... and his potential is completely untapped.

I know there are many of you out there like Ali too, a talented hidden gem waiting to shine. With Legendary Fundamentals, I'd like to help take you to your maximum potential.

If you'd like to take a sneak peak into his sparring with the UFC fighter, what we've done in two sessions, and his thoughts, then please do watch the video.

I've documented footage of fighters of all levels needing much stronger fundamentals, from the MMA prospect to championship fighters, and I'm beyond excited to show it to you.
